How the car travels

By road on a car carrier from Dubai to Syria

Cars from the UAE and Saudi Arabia travel on dedicated car carriers that cross Jordan and reach Syria at the Nassib (Jaber) crossing on the Damascus highway. There is no minimum: we carry a single car or several. Each car is checked and photographed at loading, and the carrier runs under transit documentation through the transit countries.

Beyond Nassib the highway runs to Damascus and continues north to Homs and Aleppo, so the car can be delivered in the consignee's city after clearance.

Most cars start in Dubai and the other emirates. We also move cars bought in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, and cars from Europe and Turkey, each planned on the route that suits its origin.

New and used cars

Checked against the Syrian import rules before booking

We ship new and used cars. Syrian import rules on a car's type, age and specification decide whether it can be imported, so our Damascus office checks each car against the rules in force and confirms acceptance before we book the car carrier.

Documents

Papers we ask for with each car

For each car we ask for the ownership papers, the export certificate issued in the UAE, the purchase invoice or sale contract, and a copy of the owner's passport. Cars from other countries need that country's equivalent ownership and export papers. Our team confirms the final list for each car, because it depends on the car and its origin.

Clearance and handover

Syrian customs clearance and delivery to the owner

Our Damascus office prepares the car's import file, clears it through Syrian customs and hands it over to the owner or consignee. Duties and fees are paid according to the Syrian tariff in force at the time of clearance.
