Which countries apply the GCC Unified Customs Tariff?
The tariff is shared by the six Gulf Cooperation Council states: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. Each state applies it through its own customs administration, so local procedures and permits still need checking at the point of entry.
Which edition of the GCC tariff does this table follow?
The table follows the GCC unified tariff published on 23 December 2024 and in force from 1 January 2025. It contains 13,431 tariff lines with twelve-digit codes and Arabic and English descriptions.
How is GCC customs duty calculated?
GCC duty is a percentage of the CIF value of the goods, meaning cost, insurance and freight up to the point of entry. Most lines carry 5%, many carry 0%, and a small group carries 100%.
What does a prohibited GCC tariff line mean?
Forty tariff lines are marked as prohibited: goods under those lines may not be imported into the GCC states. The page for each of these codes shows a clear warning, so do not ship such goods without written guidance from the customs authority.
Why do some GCC codes show no duty rate?
Some lines, including special goods, carry no percentage in the tariff file. A blank rate does not mean zero duty: ask the customs authority or your customs broker which treatment applies before you price the shipment.
How do I search the GCC tariff by code?
Enter a full twelve-digit code, or a shorter prefix such as 010121 or 0101 to list every line under it. You can also search for a word from the Arabic or English description, then open or share the page for a single code.
