Logistics pattern
How we handle it
Tanks, generator sets and transformers are often out of gauge. They move on flat racks or as breakbulk by sea, and on lowbed trailers by road. Pumps, insulation, cables and packed lubricants move in containers.
Chemicals, lubricants and petrochemical intermediates get a dangerous-goods review where applicable. The shipper provides the safety data sheet and the classification. Carrier acceptance is confirmed before booking. See dangerous goods.
Routes follow the origin. China to Latakia direct, China to Mersin then road, or transhipment through Jebel Ali. Turkey to Syria by road. Beirut or Tripoli to Syria by road. Aqaba to Syria by road. Egypt through Alexandria or Damietta.
